Preparing for Our First Lavender Harvest

Excitement is building as we continue preparing for our first limited lavender harvest in Spring 2025! Recently, we’ve been pruning our lavender fields, ensuring strong growth and healthy plants to bring you the highest-quality lavender products.

Conservation Efforts on the Farm

At Agape Farm, we’re dedicated to rebuilding soil health and restoring natural habitats. Our recent work includes planting cover crops and clearing invasive species to restore the forest and encourage biodiversity.

Pollinator-Friendly Practices

We're excited to highlight our beekeeping efforts! By fostering healthy hives on the farm (Thanks to Carabo Farms https://www.carabofarms.com/ourstory), we're not only producing lavender but also supporting vital pollinators. The hives are thriving, and we look forward to incorporating more pollinator-friendly practices in the seasons ahead.

Market Events and Community Engagement

Come see us at local farmers markets! We’ve been proudly showcasing our our evidence-based Agape Lavender Lab line. Don’t miss the chance to stop by, learn more about sustainable lavender farming, and try our handmade products.

Fall Events and Beyond

As the season changes, we’re gearing up for exciting fall events like the Pittsboro Palooza and local market days. Follow along for more updates as we continue to share our journey of sustainable lavender farming and conservation.

Preparing the Lavender Fields for Fall

Our team has been hard at work getting the lavender fields ready for the fall season. We’ve been pruning, planting, and clearing out to ensure strong growth as we approach our next harvest in Spring 2025.

Beekeeping and Pollinator Support

We’re happy to share updates from our beekeeping efforts, which play a vital role in pollination at Agape Farm South. These hardworking bees are crucial to maintaining a healthy ecosystem, and we love watching our hives thrive!

Community Events and Market Days

Agape Farm South continues to engage with our local community at farmers markets and special events. We’ve recently showcased our lavender products at the Dillon Farmers Market and other market days, giving customers the chance to experience our handcrafted, evidence-based products firsthand.

A Message of Perseverance

We recently shared a reminder of perseverance in farming: “Never give up.” This sentiment resonates with everything we do at Agape Farm South, from our sustainable farming practices to product development.
